The REAL New Zealand Festival 2011 (the festival) is a programme of events, attractions and experiences that showcases New Zealand’s people, landscapes, languages and stories, and draws together the initiatives in the regions to ensure an unforgettable visitor experience around Rugby World Cup 2011.

The NZ 2011 Office has made every effort to ensure that the information set out in this website in relation to the festival is accurate. However, visitors to this website are advised as follows:

  • The festival events listed on this website may be subject to change without notice. New events and experiences will be added often and occasionally it may be necessary to amend the content of a festival event programme without notice.
  • The NZ 2011 Office will make any changes to the festival programme as soon as it is advised of those changes by the presenters or individual organisations hosting the festival events. The New Zealand 2011 Office therefore recommends regular checking of this website for the most up-to-date information.

New Zealand 2011 Business Club terms and conditions

The New Zealand 2011 Business Club is a business networking opportunity for New Zealand businesses and international visitors to the Real New Zealand Festival, owned and managed by the NZ 2011 Office.

The following terms and conditions govern your relationship with the New Zealand 2011 Business Club ("we/us") which is part of NZ 2011 Office. The New Zealand 2011 website terms of use also apply to your use of this New Zealand 2011 Business Club website (together “the Terms and Conditions”).

Please read the terms and conditions carefully. By using the NZ 2011 Business Club website you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions from the date that you first use the website.

NZ 2011 Office reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time and without notice.

Membership

Membership to the New Zealand 2011 Business Club is invited from any individual in a management or professional role within a company. Membership is free. Membership is for named individuals only and is not transferrable. In the event that a Member cannot attend an event, the Member may offer a replacement. Members are not required to attend events in order to retain membership of the New Zealand 2011 Business Club. The final decision in any matters relating to membership rests entirely with the NZ 2O11 Office.

Cancellation of membership

The NZ 2011 Office reserves the right to terminate any membership of the New Zealand 2011 Business Club at any time for any reason.

Cancellation of events

The NZ 2011 Office is not responsible for the cancellation of regional REAL New Zealand Festival or business hosting events. The NZ 2011 Office will endeavour to notify all attending members but is not responsible in the case that this does not happen.

Liability

The NZ 2011 Office cannot be held responsible for any accident, illness or injury that occurs to any person whilst attending an event hosted by the New Zealand 2011 Business Club, its representatives, or any regional REAL New Zealand Festival events.

NZ 2011 Office cannot be held liable for the loss of or damage to any person's personal or business items during such an event.

Associated activities

The NZ 2011 Office encompasses associated activities including but not limited to the provision of e-newsletter and event notification both in email form and posted on the New Zealand 2011 Business Club website. Articles and items provided by way of associated activities are provided for information purposes only.

The NZ 2011 Office does not accept any responsibility or liability for the use or misuse of the article or item content or views or opinions expressed within unless those views are stated to be the views of NZ 2011 Office its officers or employees.

Inclusion of an article or submission of any item within associated activities does not imply recommendation of that person or businesses by NZ 2011 Office or any of its officers or employees unless expressly stated.

New Zealand 2011 Best Dressed Street Party terms and conditions

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions.

  • Entry is open to all residents of New Zealand except employees (and their immediate families) of the NZ 2011 Office and Rugby New Zealand 2011.
  • You may only enter the competition once.
  • Entries close at 5pm on Friday 23 September 2011.  The winner will be notified by email on Wednesday 28 September 2011.  The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The prize is to be taken as offered and is not transferrable or redeemable for cash and must be redeemed on the date and time proposed (4 – 7.30pm, Saturday 15 October).
  • All entries must comply with the Rugby World Cup 2011 Major Events Management Act.
  • All entries must include the involvement of 4 or more consecutive houses in one street.
  • You may enter up to 4 photos per entry.
  • Permission must be gained by all property owners/inhabitants participating in the entry.
  • Permission to hold the party outside the winners’ property must be gained by all street residents.
  • The NZ2011 Office take no responsibility for the actions of any individual at the Best Dressed Street Party, nor do they take responsibility for any loss, damage or hurt to any individuals or any property where that loss, damage or hurt is associated with, or takes place during at the events.  The winners that host the Street Party acknowledge that they will take full responsibility for their own conduct at the Street Party, as well as the conduct of all attendees.
  • The winners of the Street Party will assist in the clean-up after the party where appropriate.
  • The NZ 2011 may use the winner’s name, entry and town of residence in any publicity relating to this promotion. We also reserve the right to invite the media to the Best Dressed Street Party.

 

New Zealand 2011 Best Dressed Street Colouring-in Competition terms and conditions

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions.  

  • Entry is open to all children between the ages of 2 and 9 at the time of entry except employees (and their immediate families) of the NZ 2011 Office and Rugby New Zealand 2011.
  • There are 2 age categories: ‘6 and Under’ and ‘Ages 7 – 9’.
  • There will be 2 prizes per region; one in each age category in the following regions:
  • Northland, Auckland, Coromandel, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Central Plateau, East Coast, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu, Wairarapa, Wellington, Marlborough, Tasman, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago and Southland.
  • Prizes consist of a ‘Rugger’ Pack from the New Zealand Rugby Union which includes a Rugger soft toy, book, drink bottle and cap.
  • Entries must be sent to Best Dressed Street Competition, PO Box 1473, Wellington.
  • One entry per person.
  • Entries close at 5pm on Friday 23 September 2011. The winner will be notified by post. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.  Winners will also be announced on the Best Dressed Street Competition Facebook page.
  • Each competition entry must include the entrant’s name, age, address, and a contact telephone number.
