The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra (NZSO) and guests perform Beethoven's 9th Symphony and a new work from Gareth Farr in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.

The programme features:
Gareth Farr — Kaitiaki (new commission)
Beethoven — Symphony No. 9 Choral Symphony
Considered one of Beethoven's most spectacular masterpieces, this Symphony is one of the best-known works of the classical repertoire.
In this concert the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra also perform a new work by celebrated New Zealand composer Gareth Farr, commissioned especially for the REAL New Zealand Festival.
