Marlborough Wine and Cuisine at Brancott Vineyard

Marlborough Wine and Cuisine at Brancott Vineyard will be a showcase of Marlborough's world class wines and gourmet cuisine along with some of New Zealand's top entertainment on the site of the historic Brancott Vineyard — New Zealand’s largest vineyard.

This one day event will be held on 6 October, 2011 and is a unique opportunity for visitors to Marlborough to experience a wide range of local wines and gourmet cuisine from one of New Zealand's most stunning regions. On arrival guests will be given a complimentary tasting glass and invited to sample from a wide selection of Marlborough's premium wines alongside the province's gourmet cuisine. While experiencing the tastes that make Marlborough unique, guests will be able to soak up the stunning beauty of the surrounding landscape and enjoy the sounds of some of New Zealand's top musical talent including pop singer/songwriter Anna Coddington and blues/roots guitarist Paul Ubana Jones. 

This event is supported by local chefs and wine experts who will create memorable taste combinations for guests in the way of food and wine matches and free cooking demonstrations. Guests will be free to watch the culinary demonstrations, or visit exhibitors' food and wine sites at one of the three marquees to purchase wine tastings and food. With lots on offer this will be a day of food, wine and entertainment with plenty of room for sitting back and enjoying the atmosphere, or getting involved and learning more about what this region has to offer.

This unique and memorable event has been put together by the organisers of the internationally recognised Marlborough Wine Festival which is now in its 29^th year and is an annual sell-out event enjoyed by crowds of over 8,000 people each year.
