Venues around New Zealand will host the 2011 Rugby World Cup, as well as a festival of sporting, arts and cultural events.
The Rugby World Cup will take place in stadiums and other venues around New Zealand in 2011. As well as a series of great test matches, visitors and locals will enjoy a nationwide festival of sporting, arts and cultural events in the lead-up to and during the tournament.

Eden Park
The home of Auckland rugby, Eden Park, will host the Rugby World Cup opening match, two semis and the grand final.
Queens Wharf
Auckland’s Queens Wharf will be party central and the heart of Rugby World Cup celebrations in 2011.
Stadium Christchurch
The Government has contributed $15 million to the $60 million upgrade of Stadium Christchurch for the Rugby World Cup in 2011.
Otago Stadium
Dunedin’s new stadium will be New Zealand's largest indoor arena, and the second largest in the southern hemisphere after Melbourne’s Telstra Stadium.
