Spin It Wide Rugby World Cup 2011

The Southern Region, encompassing all of Otago and Southland, developed Spin It Wide® as our campaign to accompany our submission to Tournament Organisers RNZ 2011 to host matches during Rugby World Cup 2011™.   Spin It Wide® demonstrates what makes this fantastic region so unique and shows what can be achieved when passionate people and communities are united.  The short film, which features prominent local personalities, icons, landmarks and landscapes is a great demonstration of what is going on around the regions as we prepare to host Rugby World Cup 2011™ in our Stadium of Four Million.

As a result of a successful submission, the Southern Region and its 19 key stakeholder groups look forward to hosting five fantastic games during Rugby World Cup 2011™.
