Hosts and volunteers

Get involved and be part of the team who’ll make Rugby World Cup 2011 happen.

Give it 100% In 2011 thousands of Kiwis will have the chance of a lifetime – to be part of a team of volunteers and hosts who’ll make Rugby World Cup 2011 happen.

Volunteers will be needed to help get things ready for the Tournament and make sure things run smoothly on match days.  The Government will be launching a volunteer and hosting programme aimed at ensuring visitors to New Zealand feel very welcome while they’re here.

These hosts will fill a wide range of roles, from welcoming visitors at key arrival points to advising tourists on what to do and where to go, or supporting New Zealand festival and business showcase events.

We’ll be looking for people with enthusiasm, dedication and commitment to get involved.

How to get involved

We’ll start online recruitment in the very near future through a website we’re developing.  In the meantime, use the form below and we’ll let you know when the call goes out!
