It's Our Year

The Government’s new 2011 website is a one-stop shop for all of our 2011 initiatives.

We will use it to recruit New Zealanders to our hosting, showcasing and festival programmes, and to provide easy access to information to visitors around the globe.

www.nz2011.govt.nz will be where New Zealand’s RWC stories are told, bringing together news from around the regions and across government agencies. It will give both Kiwis and our international visitors a way to find out what’s happening and get involved.

 www.nz2011.govt.nz will be the home of the festival calendar, and will profile events and projects going on around the country in the lead-up to and during RWC 2011.

It will also be the on-line home of the Business 2011 Club and will link to the Volunteer Recruitment website.

www.nz2011.govt.nz will provide a link to all Government agencies working on 2011 initiatives including Tourism New Zealand and its Front Row Rugby Club, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and its Tenderlink site, SPARC, the Ministry of Culture and Heritage, Te Puni Kokiri, and Ministry for the Environment.

www.nz2011.govt.nz will also interact with social networks including Facebook and Twitter, making it easy for people to keep up with everything that’s going on.
